Argyle House is regularly inspected and awarded the FOUR STAR rating by the English Tourism Council (VisitEngland). Their overnight visit in 2008 was assessed over 8 overnight stays which we passed with flying colours. The second visiting inspector was very impressed with the guest house and loved the four poster room.

Argyle House is situated in the heart of the West Cliff conservation area of Whitby and just five minutes walk from the beach, harbour and the towns shops and restaurants. We are among a cluster of other guest houses and hotels in the area so is ideal if we cannot accommodate all of your party in our guest house.
Things to do in and around Whitby
Our Bed & Breakfast is ideal for visiting the surrounding areas of Robin Hoods Bay, Goathland (Heartbeat), Grosmont (North Yorkshire Steam Railway), Staithes and The Dalby Forrest (excellent for walking and mountain bike trails). The Clevelend way passes Argyle House making it a perfect stopover for walking.

Checking In

Their is unlimited Free Parking on the streets outside and there is a pay and display car park just 100 yards away, approx £5/day (free between 7pm and 9am). Hotels Whitby.
